Brandon Berg, a music major in percussion performance and composition at Paradise Valley Community College, has been selected for the 2020 Young Adult Honors Performance Series at Musikverein in Vienna, Austria. Brandon will perform percussion in June with the Young Adult Honors Wind Ensemble.
Participation in the Young Adult Honors Performance Series Ensemble is limited to the highest-rated 18-25-year- old instrumentalists from across the world. Acceptance to the elite group is a direct result of the talent, dedication, and achievements demonstrated in his application and audition recording.
Brandon will join over 30 performers from around the world, including 21 United States and several provinces of Canada, for a special performance at the world-famous Musikverein, a 150-year-old venue that marks the pinnacle of musical achievement.
The Honors Performance Series was created to showcase accomplished individual young performers on an international level by allowing them to study under master conductors and perform in world renowned venues. The Honors Performance Series is proudly presented by WorldStrides, the nationโs leading educational travel organization.
